Hive Mentality Goggles was a collaboration between Arman Ataman, Phillip Quiza and Pierro Pozella. The concept was inspired and thought out of the movement of ants move and how it could be applied to humans. The objective of the project was to make people communicate and move without verbal communication. Six goggles were crafted and were connected to each other. The goggles were fitted with two vibrating motors and trigger switches aligning the two temples of the head. When the trigger switch is pressed, a signal is sent to the vibrating motors on the corresponding side of all the goggles. The intensity of the vibration increased when more switches were pressed.  The second part of the project was devising two social experiments. In an obstacle course the six participants started from a single point and were instructed to navigate through the course with out speaking and just by turning into the direction of the direction. The second social experiment was the one observer giving directions to the participants.
