FFT helmet is a collaboration project between Arman Ataman, Fabio Fidanza, Christian Pecher and Yiming Yang. The idea was to design an object around the topic of periodic. The project looks at the visual patterns that occur around us. The helmet was embedded with a camera. The camera turns analyses the patterns and creates an FFT visualisation and sound according to these visualisations. The helmet creates an experience as if the user was an alien who saw the world through fft patterns and sound.
